And as it was written, so it shall be… how very introspective… now the day is done… and we have 2 new champions of the all england club… What a beautiful moment…
It wasn’t all perfection on the women’s side of things… The odds were slightly in favor of Muchova to take the crown, the septum pierced Noskova had other ideas… The winners to unforced were both at a +8 but the serving seemed to be the decider… Noskova won 74% of her first serves (50/68) and Muchova was at 64% (37/58) and total points won were also more favorable to Noskova (109/92) but other than that, it was very tight… #9 Noskova wins her first grand slam tournament with a 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 victory over #10 Muchova of Czechia. Either way, it was an appropriate winner and that also stopped Kresimir from beating the rest of you down further… You’re welcome (like I ordered it to happen ;P) – Congrats to Noskova… let’s see what she does with that… at 21, she has some time…
For the men, we get a repeat of last year with Sinner taking the Men’s Draw and being the last man standing… It wasn’t the beat down I wanted, but it will suffice… Four sets to #1 Sinner, 6-7(7), 7-6(2), 6-3, 6-4 over #2 wife beater (Zverev)… I did think with the confidence from winning RG 2026 might give him a bit of confidence… and considering he had never made it past the fourth round at Wimbledon, seems that did assist him… He also used the same joke he already used against Fritz, I no longer like you Jannick… hahaha… already done… where is the air sickness bag, because that is no longer funny… get a better joke… winners to unforced show the main part of the story… Sinner with 58/25 and Zverev with 49/45 – you can see the writing on the wall… Sinner took points at the opportune moment and Zverev only had one break point in the whole match… so, yay SINNER!!!
For you, nothing changed in standing… the men’s draw, if you had Sinner (all by Phirman) then you got additional points… if you entered the women’s draw… no more points… so… that result remains the same…

Worry not your pretty little heads… Kresimir will fall at the US Open… most likely is AMAZING fashion… no one can keep that up… but, we shall see… Thank you again for your participation… Enjoy the rest of your summer and we will chat again when we near its end…
And you think YOU need a maid… humph… look at that… We are almost at the end… I am sure you are all tired from all that tennis… think of it this way… should be a blockbuster and scardy cat women’s final… and then very one way and a beautiful obliteration on the men’s final… well, that is my prediction…
Here we go… the men… oh, well… Asshat didn’t have answers for Sinner… #7 Djokovic of Serbia is out of the tournament losing in straight 6-4 sets (x3)… Sinner beat him in every statistic… but 40 to 26 winners and 15 to 23 unforced… that sums it up… I am having a good day… until… sigh… the Fery-tale (I do vomit just a bit in my mouth typing that) ends… the wife beater takes the win in straight sets also over the wild card from Wimbledon (British/French) Fery… 44 winners to 16 and 25 unforced to 31… that ends up negative for Fery and he loses 7-6(0), 6-2, 6-4 to Zverev… and that is how it went down… honestly, not much of a shock there… number 1 v. number 2…
On the lady end of things… #7 Gauff of the United States just didn’t have it left to push past Muchova… the first and second sets were examples of just one person taking the reins… and the third set was an amazing set of tennis… Muchova took the first set, 6-2, Gauff the second, 6-1 and Muchova in the third set tie-breaker 7-6(10)… My app on my phone even got it wrong while I was watching… that was fun… I thought… wow… what a great win for Coco… then, whoopsie doodle… wrong person… Coco won 98 points to Muchova’s 95… winners were -1 Muchova and -3 for Coco… that was a VERY tight match and it came down to the tiebreaker and Gauff dumped an easy volley into the net… that would have been it… but, wasn’t meant to be… I heard a bit of Coco’s after match interview and what a great perspective… I learned a lot from that experience, including the ability to get to a semifinal on this surface… a lot of positives… and I concur… great perspective… Gauff is much more emotional than Muchova as is #12 Kostyuk of the Ukraine who did take a loss to Noskova… This was a bit more straight forward with a double 6-4 loss… Noskova isn’t serving aces, she is serving up unreturnable shots… she has a great target game on the court… Noskova had -10 (7/17) on her winners to unforced and Kostyuk had +0… (22/22)… but winners, not the game if the shots are not returnable… stats do not work here… Two Czech girls… the first same country final since 2017 where Stephens beat Keys in the Final of the US Open…
For you… well, Denise steps up HARD on the Men’s draw grabbing 40 points… But, as previously stated… it isn’t going to get her anywhere… Kresimir takes the win… Denise a beautiful second place (in BOTH draws) and so proud are we after only 4 brackets and a horrible derailment from Aunt Fran on her first try… this is quite a victory… if only it hadn’t been for the evil toils of Kresimir… Kelly, not to be overshadowed, is taking third in the men’s draw… Women… well, Kresimir crushed you all… picking BOTH the finalists and still having Muchova to take the trophy for another 30 points… Denise gets a solid second but only one point back is Dan… cursing Denise with his bronze medal… ONE measly point…

And that is the end results too… James P. cannot catch up as he has no points to gain and will take miserable last in the Men’s Draw… The Women… James K. take the last place win… so, congrats to YOU both… I hope you enjoy the weekend… Breakfast at Wimbledon starts tomorrow at 6 am PST (9 am EST)… be amazing and good luck… so excited for the finals…
And mind it I will! mmmm… oh, hello there… enjoying the tennis… I mean… some of you have some winners in the men’s quarterfinals… and most of you do NOT have anything left for the women’s draw… seriously… not a single option… #notsorryatfuckingall… I would really appreciate the assistance in making that hashtag trend… please and thank you… I said please…
So, ladies… ok, let’s start there… Muchova took down #14 Osaka of Japan in straight sets, 7-6(4), 6-4… It felt like Osaka couldn’t get her mind and body in the same game and she was fighting herself… She had some amazing shots, but it just wasn’t enough… #4 Pegula of the USA was the favorite going into the match, because Coco had never been past the fourth round at Wimbledon… but, Swiatek also hadn’t made it past the quarterfinals prior and she clobbered Anisimova with a double fucking bagel in the final last year… so, stats don’t apparently matter in the least… 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 to Gauff and she is now in the semis at Wimbledon… BRAVO! Kostyuk needed very little time and energy to take down #13 Paolini of Italy… 1 hour and 9 minutes is what it took to blast the ball through the court for a 6-3, 6-2 win… 2 hours from the start is what it took for Noskova to take out #25 Mertens of Belgium… Mertens took out Rybakina… Osaka took out Sabalenka… what a weird tournament… rumblings of the French Open 2026, but nowhere the destruction…
The men’s draw… Sinner ousts Struff of Germany… how did he get there again? Crazy… wins over #28 Nakashima, #8 Medvedev, grass court specialist Hurkacz and then he met Sinner… and buh-bye nice lady… get out of here, 7-5, 7-6(4), 6-3… and that is enough… Asshat as he is non-affectionately known gets a win over #3 Auger-Aliassime… Too many slip-ups from the Canadian and he just took the opportunities given… I don’t think he was necessarily the better player, he just came out the end with the win… He had 2 seeded players, Rinderknech and Auger-Aliassime… now, he has to face Sinner… and that will be interesting… I am sure asshat will push for the middle of the day (heat) because Djokovic knows he cannot win fairly… but, we shall see… They will be first on… so… likely in the heat of the day… #gosinner… and the magic of the season… Fery the WILD CARD of the UK (who was born in France, so super big eye-roll) takes out #9 Cobolli of Italy… It wasn’t a crazy tight match… one tight set… but 6-4, 7-6(4), 6-0 (BAGEL)… that sized up Cobolli… Lastly, the wifebeater ousts #6 Fritz 6-4, 6-4, 6-2… so much for that amazing serve… the wifebeater looked relaxed and I feel like the confidence he got from winning Roland Garros is holding up firmly here… Who is going to make the final? No one had Fery… some had the wifebeater… most have Sinner and Djokovic… so… points down below…
Kresimir is likely to win both the draws… sorry… well, not really… suck it losers… so, we will look to second place as a real exciting place on both draws… who is going to lose the best? I am looking through the choices on the women’s draw and no one made horrible choices aside from Serena winning… sorry James P… but, I do like where your head was at… Kelly was rooting for her too (as was I) but 44, that is a big ask… HUGE…

That is official, this is how the Women’s Draw will end… Kresimir can get more points for both of his finalists.. and the rest of you get NOTHING… that is right… NOTHING… There is still potential for points on the men’s side… but, I don’t think it will push up to where Kresimir is… Denise looks like she is going to pull this off in this draw also… currenlty in second with the most points to gain (90) but she is still 19 points back if Zverev makes it to the final… and that is how this show is going… but, REALLY good effort Denise…

I LOVE that the James’ are sharing the last position… go San Diego (Pizza Port for Denise)… better luck next time… although, I did really like some of your selections… I always pull for the underdog… unless it is asshat or wifebeater… This fortnight is almost over… who is going to pull it off and raise the plate/trophy at the end… only time will tell… Thank you for your participation… It is always fun for me 🙂
Fun facts with Kresimir… Don’t you feel better knowing that information? I do… so, you’re welcome…
ROUND FOUR
The Boys
Oh these losers… so much went on and it was all very good… some lost though… so, it is fun to bring that up… Sinner took out Mochizuki the qualifier from Japan… quite the run for him… Struff ousts Hurkacz, well… he had to retire… The Pole did some damage and is still working out some issues with injury… wait, that seems a bit obvious… Auger-Alissime takes out #22DavidovichFokina… now I have a question… what would happen if Felix and Alejandro got married? Would they be Auger-Alissime-Davidovich Fokina? Djokovic bests Safiullin who was also qualifier… Cobolli knocks out #5 De Minuar of Australia… the biggest and most wild win was two wild cards, Fery of the UK and Dimitrov of Bulgaria… five set thriller in which the Brit came out on top… Fritz over #10 Bublik from Khazakstan… and Zverev over #13 Lehecka of Czechia…

And that is about the size of today’s games… well the completion of yesterday’s matches due to the hold over of the Zverev match… and tomorrow we complete the quarterfinals… whoo hoo… I hope you are all doing well… sending you smiles and happiness wherever you can find them…
I have returned… omg the jet lag is REAL… sigh… such an interesting experience… I have been to Wimbledon twice before and both times were for a couple of matches on Centre Court and Number One Court… this experience was WILD… if you haven’t queued you don’t know what it is like to watch people suffer and call it fun… You stand there… maybe talking to someone, or maybe the people around you are too self absorbed to talk to you… I am going with the latter… I stood for four days in a row on or about 10 hours prior to getting into the venue… seriously, it is insane… I saw some genuine people and people having fun… but, it was tedium… but there I stood in the field awaiting my prince who never fucking came… oh well… it was an experience… NOT recommended… in case you were wondering…
Anyway… this has not been the shitshow that RG was; however, we do have some moments and I am questioning if my good luck on these trips is because I am there, or because I know tennis players so well… I am going with the former, because sheesh… Let’s do the highlights of the seeds and who fell when…
Round One
Men’s Draw
Quinn took down #14 Darderi of Italy, not too bad of a start eh? Then #11 Ruud of Norway fell to Hurkacz… Zheng took down #26 Norrie of Great Brittain… I saw Zheng play, he has some very acute skills with that racket and very patient… #12 Rublev ousted by fellow Russian Safiullin who I also watched qualify… very good on the grass… Majchrzak ousts #30 Tabilo of Chile… a good surface for the Pole, not so much for the Chilean Sea Bass… Bergs over #27 Umbert of France… should have seen that one coming, Bergs beat him just a couple days prior to win a tournament… so… Virtanen takes out #4 Shelton of the USA… whoopsie… I did listen to this match as I was walking back to my flat… it sounded a bit sad and a missed opportunity in the five set match… #29 Etcheverry of Argentina is out to Sonego… #18 Cerundolo also of Argentina is ousted by Munar… #32 Arnaldi of Italy isn’t enough for a big serving Halys… not a good day for these boys…
Women’s Draw
Tjen takes out #22 Fernandez of Canada… #20 Chwalinska of Poland is taken down by Sawangkaew… the Pole was the runner up to Andreeva at the French Open this year… she didn’t know how to play on grass, yet… Bouzas Maneiro over #27 Potopova of Austria… Sonmez over #28 Li from America… Sonmez is pretty talented on all surfaces… #8 Svitolina didn’t make it past the first round with a loss to fellow Ukrainian Snigur… Another veteran #31 Vekic of Croatia is taken out by Krueger who qualified for the tournament… nice win… #24 Tauson of Denmark isn’t enough for Sakkari a bit of a surprise win for her… and that is the size of Round ONE…

Round Two
Women’s Draw
Let’s start this off right… #5 Andreeva is out to 2024 champion Krejcikova BAM… bye girl bye… Samsonova takes out the war monger (#15 Schnaider)… buh-bye… so sorry to see you go… not really… and that was all of the seeds which fell on the women’s draw… oh, just wait honey… round three is COMING…
Men’s Draw
#31 Buse of Poland is taken out by Brooksby… that seems reasonable… Struff over #28 Nakashima of the USA… Fucsovics over #16 Tien of the United States… interesting… I see a trend… maybe… Dimitrov gets a win over #15Mensik of Czechia… Didn’t see that one coming… but, good for Dimitrov… he had a terrible loss to Sinner last year with an on court injury… so… yay him… Berrettini over #20 Fils of France… not a shock, Fils has been on injury patrol…

Round Three
Men’s Draw
The seeds are now clashing… for the most part… #17 Tiafoe of the USA is taken out by Bublik… he is a bit crazy in the best way… Cobolli over #19 Khachanov of Russia… #25 Rinderknech of France is taken down by Djokovic… eh… no surprise… Safiullin, who took down Rublev also ousts #24 Fonseca of Brazil… Struff over #8 Medvedev of Russia… I don’t get it… it would seem that Medvedev’s game would really be suited for grass… but, he cannot seem to figure out the surface… Hurkacz over #21 Paul of the United States… Mochizuki, a qualifier, takes down #23 Jodar of Spain…
Women’s Draw
#18 Alexandrova of Russia is knocked out by Jovic… that is a fun result, Alexandrova is a hard hitter and Jovic has a lot of skills around the court… good win for her… Bencic over #19 Kalinskaya of Russia… Kostyuk takes down the American #23 Navarro, being a billionaire didn’t help you… yet again… #3 Swiatek is ousted by Eala… eek… well, kind of… that one was easier to read… Swiatek isn’t comfortable on the grass and even though she was the defending champion, it seemed a bit of a fluke and Eala has beat her before… so… not a shocker… Keys over fellow American and runner up in 2025, #6 Anisimova… #17 Cirstea of Romania wasn’t enough for Noskova… and the big upset of this round is #2 Rybakina who is beaten by Mertens… I don’t think Mertens has beat Rybakina before… quite the win! Congrats…

The last Men’s match has yet to be finished… Zverev is up two sets to love and they are 3-all in the third… so… I will not be displaying any points until after that match tomorrow… which I will do a special breaking news post… with those points… But, the women are completed with the set up of the quarterfinals… so, we can discuss now…
ROUND FOUR
The Women
Osaka starts us off with a BIG win over #1 Sabalenka… DID NOT see that one coming… especially when Osaka retired in the match against Muchova just last week… humph… Pegula ousts #16 Jovic of the USA… Gauff over #11 Bencic of Switzerland… nice win, especially on grass for Gauff… she has it in her… still not the most comfortable surface… let’s see if she can get passed the next round… unsure at the moment… #29 Eala of the Philippines is done thanks to Paolini… Noskova takes down #26 Keys of America… and Mertens over #21Bouzkova of Czechia… not a bad way to round things out… and now we have the quarterfinals…

Ok… phew… I am TIRED… it isn’t even bedtime!!! ARGH… don’t worry… I have enough hate to keep me fueled for a few hours… I hope that was a decent synopsis… I need a nap, but can’t take one… but, so much more tennis to come… Tomorrow will be here soon…
