Buckingham Palace has 775 rooms…

And you think YOU need a maid… humph… look at that… We are almost at the end… I am sure you are all tired from all that tennis… think of it this way… should be a blockbuster and scardy cat women’s final… and then very one way and a beautiful obliteration on the men’s final… well, that is my prediction…

Here we go… the men… oh, well… Asshat didn’t have answers for Sinner… #7 Djokovic of Serbia is out of the tournament losing in straight 6-4 sets (x3)… Sinner beat him in every statistic… but 40 to 26 winners and 15 to 23 unforced… that sums it up… I am having a good day… until… sigh… the Fery-tale (I do vomit just a bit in my mouth typing that) ends… the wife beater takes the win in straight sets also over the wild card from Wimbledon (British/French) Fery… 44 winners to 16 and 25 unforced to 31… that ends up negative for Fery and he loses 7-6(0), 6-2, 6-4 to Zverev… and that is how it went down… honestly, not much of a shock there… number 1 v. number 2…

On the lady end of things… #7 Gauff of the United States just didn’t have it left to push past Muchova… the first and second sets were examples of just one person taking the reins… and the third set was an amazing set of tennis… Muchova took the first set, 6-2, Gauff the second, 6-1 and Muchova in the third set tie-breaker 7-6(10)… My app on my phone even got it wrong while I was watching… that was fun… I thought… wow… what a great win for Coco… then, whoopsie doodle… wrong person… Coco won 98 points to Muchova’s 95… winners were -1 Muchova and -3 for Coco… that was a VERY tight match and it came down to the tiebreaker and Gauff dumped an easy volley into the net… that would have been it… but, wasn’t meant to be… I heard a bit of Coco’s after match interview and what a great perspective… I learned a lot from that experience, including the ability to get to a semifinal on this surface… a lot of positives… and I concur… great perspective… Gauff is much more emotional than Muchova as is #12 Kostyuk of the Ukraine who did take a loss to Noskova… This was a bit more straight forward with a double 6-4 loss… Noskova isn’t serving aces, she is serving up unreturnable shots… she has a great target game on the court… Noskova had -10 (7/17) on her winners to unforced and Kostyuk had +0… (22/22)… but winners, not the game if the shots are not returnable… stats do not work here… Two Czech girls… the first same country final since 2017 where Stephens beat Keys in the Final of the US Open…

For you… well, Denise steps up HARD on the Men’s draw grabbing 40 points… But, as previously stated… it isn’t going to get her anywhere… Kresimir takes the win… Denise a beautiful second place (in BOTH draws) and so proud are we after only 4 brackets and a horrible derailment from Aunt Fran on her first try… this is quite a victory… if only it hadn’t been for the evil toils of Kresimir… Kelly, not to be overshadowed, is taking third in the men’s draw… Women… well, Kresimir crushed you all… picking BOTH the finalists and still having Muchova to take the trophy for another 30 points… Denise gets a solid second but only one point back is Dan… cursing Denise with his bronze medal… ONE measly point…
